Some dishes never need changing.

Our Yellowtail Kingfish Sashimi has been here since day one, and our regulars would not have it any other way. Cool, buttery slices of kingfish with sharp green chilli, a savoury hit of kombu, and just enough wasabi to wake it all up.

Our early spring days are made for slowing down, and the outdoor dining area is ready for them. A table in the urban jungle, plenty of sunshine, and nowhere else to be.

Treat Dad to steak this Father’s Day.

This Sunday, pull up a table beneath the ferns and spend the afternoon or evening in Southside’s urban jungle. Good food, cold drinks, and a long lunch or lingering dinner in his honour. We are open for both.

The centrepiece? Our Black Angus MB5 Striploin 350g with Thai Salad and Nam Jim Jaew. Bold, beautifully marbled, and one of the proudest dishes on our new menu.

And because it is his day, every Dad gets a Fish Lane L***r on the house, our own crisp brew, and the ideal partner to a jungle lunch or dinner.
