Voting continues for the 2026 Pulse Tasmania and Hospitality Tasmania People’s Choice Awards, giving Tasmanians the chance to support their favourite venues across the state.

The awards cover Best Pub, Best Bottle Shop, Best Breakfast, Best Coffee and Best Live Music, with more than 1,000 nomination responses received.

Pulse Tasmania and Hospitality Tasmania said all nominated venues, from major operators to smaller local favourites, have now moved through to the voting stage.

Winners will be announced from September 25 to 29, before celebrations wrap up at the Hospitality Tasmania Awards for Excellence at Mac02 on September 30.

💛🤎 What a fantastic day! 💙🤍

A huge thank you to all of our lucky venue winners who joined us in the corporate box for the Hawthorn Hawks vs North Melbourne Kangaroos clash at UTAS Stadium on Saturday.

It was a pleasure to spend the day with such a wonderful group of people. I hope you enjoyed the footy, the food, the hospitality, the amazing nights accommodation at The Verge and the great company as much as I enjoyed hosting you!

Thank you for making it such a fun and memorable day. It was lovely meeting you all, and I hope you took home some great memories and not too many sore heads (and maybe even a few bragging rights! 😉).

⭐The Seabrook is looking for an energetic and reliable Front of House team member to join our busy bistro.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love delivering great customer service, we want to hear from you!

The role is casual, working 10-15hrs per week over a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends.

You will be responsible for:
- welcoming patrons
- ensuring food and drink orders are taken correctly
- serving and clearing tables
- processing payment
- ensuring the venue is clean and tidy

We’re looking for someone:
- friendly and outgoing with great communication skills
- neat, tidy and presentable
- with their RSA (or able to obtain)
- reliable with great team work skills
