Burnt out by city life in Brisbane, they made a pretty drastic decision. Bought a caravan, packed up their life and hit the road.
Somewhere along the way they heard the iconic Silverton Hotel in far west New South Wales was up for sale… so they drove out for a look.
By early March, they’d taken over one of Australia’s most famous outback pubs.
Now instead of traffic and long shifts, it’s desert sunsets out the front, locals dropping in for a yarn, tourists rolling through town, and the odd donkey wandering past the pub.
Honestly… I’m a bit jealous.
