The quality of La Morena coffee from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala is world-renowned, and it is produced exclusively by a collective of female farmers.
In a part of the world where gender equality is still a significant challenge, particularly in the farming industry, the achievements of the La Morena women and the socio-economic impact of their work in their communities cannot be overstated.
