Working with a different crew in the Rotary Food Van over the weekend!! The Run and Ride was an enormous success with over 350 participants. A huge vote of thanks to all Rotarians and Volunteers who made the day such a smooth one. AND a ripping shout out to Natalie who was the driving force behind it all. Look out 2027…….

We think this lovely new Hello Kitty sweater is probably feeling very lonely. It was left at the railway precinct on Saturday after the Run and Ride event. Please ring Jan on 0428 993 723 or call into Cafe Rhubaba 2 to be reunited!

We just want to let you know that we will be open on both Saturday and Sunday to support the two big events going on this weekend.

There is the Arts Exhibition in the Mechanics Hall 🎨🖼️as well as the Rotary Run and Ride 🚲🏃‍♂️which is focussed around the Railway Precinct. This event has attracted over 350 entries this year - thats a record.👏

Hope to see you at the cafe, the art exhibition and the Run and Ride!! Scottsdale will be busy!!!

If you are wondering what we are doing drilling bits of cardboard into the verandah roof it’s simple……we are saving the swallows and trying to keep our outdoor diners from dodging swallow droppings!!! Nesting swallows are special - hope you agree!

He’s a treasure! A bit of a shine-up for the cafe as with this weather outside is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy our food, coffee and the sunshine 😁. I’m on cleaning window duty!!

Spring is in the air it seems! Today we have cooked for you a delicious Italian inspired Sausage Casserole with potatoes from Holger’s garden and Barb has made some Salmon, Dill and Cream Cheese Croissants. Baked this morning an Orange and Currant Cake, Coffee Cake and a GF Orange and Almond cake too!!
