The beautiful, English-as-anything Miss Marple is hard to miss, sitting as it does so prominently in Sassafras and looking for all the world like something straight out of the eponymous Agatha Christie novels. Indoors, the vibe is the same: quaint, English and entirely befitting the cool climate of the Dandenongs in its cosiness and warmth. The menu is unreservedly English and includes dishes like

Welsh rarebit, Pimlico pasties and a hearty ploughman's lunch. Many love coming here for the Devonshire teas and sweet treats on cold afternoons, and there's no mystery (as Miss Marple herself might deduce) as to why this is such a popular spot.
