Hello, I'm Catherine Theodore, the owner of Cafe 3847 & Co. We proudly opened our doors on Thursday 27th December 2012 @12.15pm. For as long as I can remember, owning my own cafe was always a dream of mine. This dream turned into a reality when in 2009 I was faced with a life changing health issue. By having this dream and with the love and support from my partner Justin Field, along with my two g

irls, his five children and his parents along with the unconditional love from my sister Lisa, Cafe 3847 & Co. I have loved the planning stage as I have met so many amazing people along the way along with learnt so many new skills. "who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks??"
I have the most amazing team of staff, who I can honestly say are like family to me;
I would so like to thank Kane at Three Little Birds and Rob at 100 on Hotham who gave their time and trust in me to learn more about the Cafe Industry. Also I acknowledge and admire Adam and Kate at Red Annex and Dee at The 3844 in Traralgon as they so inspire me - thank you. Also a BIG thank you to the wonderful local support I'm receiving from the folks of Rosedale. I so love and believe in Rosedale and to what it has to offer; it really is a great place to live in and to visit. Our MISSION

Is for all people from all walks of life to come to Café 3847 & Co. and experience the giving through good food, ambiance, laughter and human spirit. Our ‘Green’ Policy for Café 3847 & Co. Our ‘Green’ Policy for our Business Plan, we have adopted the following processes:
Our ORGANIC waste is distributed to our local Primary School to be composted for their vegetable garden and to feed their animals. We also feed our chooks and duck at home; they love it! We are also looking into RECYCLING the used grinded coffee into fertilizer, working with Zest, our Coffee supplier, mixing in left over coffee shells. Gardens will thrive! At Café 3847 & Co we serve home cooked & treats with regional produce;
