MOUNT OBERON ⛰️
Wilson’s Prom holds a significant relevance for me, growing up I frequented this place a lot! I also learnt to surf here, but more significantly, my great Grandmother grew up at the lighthouse here. I imagine her often when I am here. Her mother being shipped off to give birth in Melbourne and then being shipped back with a newborn… it blows my mind. So isolated… the prom is such wild country. Today these little legs hiked to the top of Mt Oberon. I’d be lying if I said there was no complaints - there was haha! But they made it and don’t hear a peep of complaint on the way back to the car park. They did well and I am so proud of them 🙏✨
