Eight weeks before the "Flu that must not be named" engulfed the world, I opened a small, little take-away cafe at CQU named, School Grounds Cafe. Over the next few years we struggled and survived! SGC has become a daily for many people and I am grateful to all who support us.

Even with the craziness of the last couple of years, SGC is going strong and we have welcomed Kylie Drew into the company.

We also have some very exciting news... We are opening a second location, Called Earlybirds. Earlybirds is situated at 60 Spencer Street, The Range.

Earlybirds will be opened 7 days/week, 6am-3pm (hours may change). We have indoor/outdoor seating, and will be serving up an all-day breakfast menu, lunch menu, plenty of amazing baked goods and grab and go items.

Anyway, the reason for this post is mainly to get the word out that we are looking for all the staff. Baristas, all-rounders, chefs (passionate cooks), sous chefs etc... If you know anyone, please let them know they can contact me on 0458809064, or email a resume to [email protected]

We will be aiming for a 4th/July soft opening at this stage.
