Criterion Hotel Rochester and Criterion Hotels Milkshake Lane will be closed this Friday 10th April to attend a funeral.
We will reopen as usual on Saturday at11am

Update

The last trading day for the Criterion Hotel Rochester will be Anzac Day Saturday 25th April.

We will continue to run the kitchen stock down until this date so menu items will be removed as they run out.

At this time we do not know what will happen from May as we are still waiting to be updated from the owner of the hotel but we are under the impression that the hotel will remain open. As soon as we know anything we will let the community know

Milkshake Lane will be open from the 26th to 30th April 10am to 5pm while stock lasts.

We have a garage clearance sale running in the hotel so pop in and see if there is anything you like and make an offer.

Update:

The troupe will be doing the miles to bring the smiles to rural communities over the next few weeks to to our volunteers, their families and bring communities together for some RnR.

This has been made possible because of the amazing support from the Criterion Hotel Rochester "Unsocial social club" who raised funds for us as they know the importance of what we do after supporting their community since the 2022 floods.
We also have some proceeds from the Christmas raffle to add to the kitty so off we go!:

8: Mandurang is a private event for CFA volunteers.

Now once we have completed this run with our troupe including Ambassadors music Ambassador Jessey Jackson, comedian Ambassadors Brett Hunter and Caveman-Cavie we are up shi*t creek without a paddle if we do not sell out the 1,000 tickets in the current raffle.
It means we are at a halt and communities miss out on us coming to do what we do.

The prize is a cracker: $2,000 to pay your household bills: power, gas, water and phone....(including rego!) and that's business or residential!

We are entering our 10th year now with over 330 communities supported in some shape or form in regards to time out for mental well-being and social support.

In August last year the committee decided that we would give thanks to members of the CFA Volunteers Group around the state and then we all know the devasting fires happened so it is even more important to do so!

We already have visited the Goornong CFA, Newbridge Hotel, Criterion Hotel Rochester and Picola Hotel to give thanks.

We do not seek government funding as we recon why take funds from the government when it's the governments doing as to why we exist!
Plus we like to give likeminded Aussies the opportunity to chip in to help our rural mates AND win a wicked prize as we say THANK YOU to you for helping us out to help.
After all, mental well-being matters to everyone right?
(and given the pressure our rural communities are under at the moment we are needed now more than ever!)

That is how this life should work hey?
