As some of you are aware
Late last year Felix and his band were selected with a number of other students from Blackburn high school to represent Australia in the essentially Ellington jazz competition.
As you can imagine we are extremely proud of all the kid hard work and dedication
Please check out this fantastic world renowned competition if you are not familiar with it.
We are holding a a fundraiser gig to give the members of Duke lamington a bit of spending money for their time away.
The kids are planning on playing three 45 minute sets the first comprising of the competition jazz that they will be performing in the US, followed by two sets of their contemporary covers showcasing their awesome talent.
Please come down to little buddy and show some support to our seriously talented young musicians.
We hope to see you on the 13 of next month
