Well… we’ve certainly had a few messages about our roadside sign & fence this morning! 😳
For everyone who has sent us photos, checked in or messaged because they were worried — we’re all okay here at The Shed Cafe Olive and Stone Farm! Thank you for thinking of us. ❤️
This happened sometime during the night, so we didn’t see the accident and we don’t know who the driver was or what happened. Most importantly, we just hope whoever was in the vehicle is okay.
It’s also a timely little reminder to take care on our scenic country roads.
They’re beautiful roads to drive, but they come with wildlife, livestock, farm machinery, narrow shoulders, hidden driveways, changing conditions and the odd surprise around a bend.
Slow down, take your time and get where you’re going safely.
The countryside isn’t going anywhere!
And neither are we — although our poor old sign & fence may be feeling a little nervous. 😅
Thanks again to our lovely community for checking on us, and to the emergency crews who attended. It means a lot.
