🇫🇷 A little taste of France is coming to The Corner.

Our next Gourmet Night is on Saturday 24 October, with a French-inspired three-course alternate drop menu created around classic French flavours, techniques and dishes.

With French-trained chefs in the kitchen, this is a menu we’ve been especially excited to put together and one that brings something completely different to our usual dinner service.

It’s that time of year again… just a little later than usual! 🚴☕️

IRONMAN returns to Port Macquarie on Sunday 18 October, swapping its usual May date for October. We’re hoping spring might be a little kinder to the athletes, supporters and spectators on the weather front this time around! 🤞

The Corner is proud to be a participating restaurant again this year, and we’ll be accepting IRONMAN restaurant vouchers throughout the event.

Of course, you don’t need to be competing to join us. Athletes, support crews, locals, visitors and spectators are all welcome.

And with the bike course heading along Clarence Street, we have a pretty handy spot to watch the riders come through! 🚴‍♀️

WOW! What a night! 🥂🎉

Last night was our BIGGEST Gourmet Night yet; with a full house and some absolutely beautiful dishes coming out of the kitchen. 👏

A huge thank you to our chefs and staff for everything they put into making these nights happen, both behind the scenes and on the night itself. 🙏

And of course, thank you to everyone who joined us. Seeing so many familiar faces alongside plenty of new ones means so much to our family. Our customers have helped make our Gourmet Nights what they are today, and after 11 years at The Corner, we’re incredibly grateful to still be sharing nights like this with you. 🧡🥳

11 years at The Corner, and we still get excited about nights like these. 🥂

We made this video a year ago to capture a little of what goes into our Gourmet Nights, and watching it back now really shows how much they’ve continued to grow. ⭐️🙏

Tonight we’re celebrating our fully booked 11th anniversary Gourmet Night and now we’re already planning the next one.

Our next Gourmet Night is Saturday 24th October, with a French-inspired three-course alternate drop menu, featuring French classics and dishes inspired by the experience of our French-trained chefs. 👨‍🍳🇫🇷

After 11 years at The Corner, we still love creating, celebrating and doing what we do. 🥂✨

And to everyone who has joined us for a Gourmet Night, supported The Corner, celebrated a milestone with us or simply walked through our doors over the years, thank you. We wouldn’t still be here doing what we love without you. 🥂✨

A huge congratulations to Jack’s Creek! 🏆🥩

Jack’s Creek & Albers has been named World’s Best Wagyu at the 2026 World Steak Challenge, another incredible achievement for an Australian beef producer recognised around the world.

We’re proud to serve Jack’s Creek 8+ Wagyu rump here at The Corner, and it’s pretty special knowing the beef on our dinner menu comes from a producer achieving recognition like this.

Congratulations to the Jacks Creek team on a very well-deserved win.

Jane and Cory are two of the familiar faces you’ll often find out the front at The Corner. Different generations of the same family, both part of the everyday rhythm of a family-run restaurant and the people our regulars have come to know over the years. ☺️

Hospitality is made up of so many little things. Remembering a familiar face, knowing someone’s usual coffee, stopping for a chat and making people feel welcome when they walk through the door.
