A GENTLE REMINDER | Melbourne Cup Day Note from HQ

A reminder to our valued guests and Hunter Valley friends that Hunters Quarter is closed today, Melbourne Cup Day.

After ten years of hosting Cup Day celebrations, we are doing things a little differently this year and the team will be enjoying Cup Day with friends and family.

UPDATE ON MELBOURNE CUP DAY

After ten years of Melbourne Cup Day celebrations at Hunters Quarter, we will be taking a different approach this year, with the restaurant closed on Cup Day.

It has been a wonderful decade of race-day glamour, beautiful food, bubbles and fabulous company. To everyone who has joined us over the years, thank you for being part of those memories.

While we won’t be celebrating Cup Day together this year, there are plenty more occasions to enjoy at HQ. With our extended hours pre-Christmas we are happy to offer more opportunities to enjoy our degustation menu, long well-deserved lunches, special gatherings and memorable evenings in the vines.

THE TABLE IS SPOKEN FOR…Friday 23rd October Dinner Service

A reminder that Friday Dinner is closed this week for a private function.

It is always very special for us when HQ becomes the setting for a gathering that's just for one group - good food, good company and a reason to celebrate. For everyone else, we will be back to our usual service tomorrow.

And if you're starting to think about Christmas gatherings, particularly for your team or a special group of friends, it is worth getting your preferred date on the calendar sooner rather than later.

This Tuesday, 20 October, Hunters Quarter is hosting a private event — a little different from our usual trading days, but a reminder that HQ is available for private bookings beyond our regular opening hours.

And with the corporate Christmas season fast approaching, here is something for the busy executive who suddenly realises the team still needs somewhere rather special to celebrate…

No booking? No plan? No need to panic.

If you have left your end-of-year function a little later than intended, let's have a conversation. We may be able to make an evening work, even on a day we are not usually open.
