Well… I SOLD OUT 🥹📚

Six weeks ago I nervously put The Cozy Quill into its very first physical retail space, genuinely having no idea whether anyone would actually buy something from this little business I’ve been building.

Today I went in for the final time… and there was nothing left to pack 😭

I SOLD OUT.

Seeing complete strangers choose my books, take home a Blind Date, and support something that started as an idea in my head has been such a surreal feeling.

This little space gave The Cozy Quill so many firsts. My first physical retail space, my first customer, my first sale, and now my first sell-out🥹

It was always an experiment, and I’ve learned SO much from these six weeks. Now it’s time to close this chapter and see where the next one takes me.

And hopefully that next chapter looks a little something like markets, Blind Date Books, coffee and snacks. 👀☕📚

The first shelf is empty. The story isn’t. 🪶🤎

🪶 The end of our first chapter.

Six weeks ago, I filled this little space with books, wrapped Blind Dates, mugs, signs and a whole lot of hope.

Today, I emptied it.

Not because I packed everything away… but because you SOLD ME OUT. 🥹📚

The Cozy Quill officially leaves its very first retail home sold out, and I genuinely couldn’t have imagined a better way for this chapter to end.

This little shelf gave me so many firsts.

My first physical retail space.
My first customer.
My first sale.
The first time I got to watch complete strangers discover something I’d created.

And now, my first sell-out. 😭🤎

A huge thank you to the beautiful team at Lollipop Collective for giving The Cozy Quill its first little home, for supporting me, encouraging me and giving me somewhere to test this crazy little dream in the real world.

And to every single person who picked up one of my books, took a Blind Date home, bought a mug, followed along or told someone about The Cozy Quill…

thank you.

This isn’t goodbye.

The shelf might be empty, but the story certainly isn’t.

We’re turning the page, and the next chapter might just involve marquee stalls, books, coffee and a few delicious things on the side. 👀☕🥐📚
