Do you have experience as a chef or commercial cook and a passion for supporting people with disability?

We’re looking for a Support Worker with kitchen/cheffing experience to join our team at The Good Company & Co.

You’ll work alongside our amazing superstars, helping them build their hospitality skills, confidence and independence in a real café environment. Every day is different, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference while sharing your love of food.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has commercial kitchen or cheffing experience
• Enjoys mentoring and teaching others
• Is patient, positive and a great team player
• Has (or is willing to obtain) the relevant support worker checks

From perfect espresso extraction to pouring beautiful latte art, Tash has been teaching the skills and techniques used by professional baristas, and our newest recruits have been loving every minute of it.

At The Good Company & Co, our Barista 123 program is about so much more than making coffee, it’s about building confidence, developing real workplace skills, and creating pathways to meaningful employment.

🌈 MEET JOSH K 🌈

Josh describes himself as an expert at serving customers on the till and delivering their meals, and we think his friendly smile makes everyone feel welcome!

Since joining The Good Company & Co, Josh has also been learning to make coffee and is working towards becoming an expert at that too.

Josh is proud to have completed his Certificate II in Hospitality and is now working towards his Certificate III. He also enjoys helping new workmates learn the ropes.

His favourite part of working at the café? Everything… except doing the dishes! 😂

Josh isn’t sure what he would like to learn next, but he’s excited to see where his hospitality journey takes him.

Rachel is a proud Dockers supporter who brings growing confidence and a warm smile to The Good Company & Co!

Since joining the café, Rachel has learned how to make the PERFECT coffee—and she’s especially proud of the confidence she has gained along the way.

Her favourite part of working at the café is serving coffee to our customers, and her next goal is to master making our delicious açaí bowls.

We’re incredibly proud of Rachel and everything she continues to achieve. Keep up the amazing work, Rachel! ☕💛

💛 MEET JOSH S 💛

Josh loves playing Minecraft on his iPad, and he’s also one of the café’s resident comedians! He is always telling jokes and making the rest of the team laugh.

At The Good Company & Co, Josh has learned how to use the POS system and restock the drinks fridge. He is proud of achieving his Cert II in Hospitality and his RSA.

Josh’s favourite part of working at the café is seeing all his friends. His next goal is to complete his Cert III in Hospitality, and we can’t wait to see what he achieves next!
