A reality check and also a happy ending in the comments for this s**g!😊Be mindful of the wildlife around the complex and please keep On The Point fishing free.

We are seeing a rise of fishing related injured to our native birds.

This poor cormorant had this hook and lure removed from a evening rescue from our friends at Western Australian Seabird Rescue.

Many of these injuries are more than superficial wounds and require surgery and extended care to rehabilitate 😔

Fishing tackle left behind is litter and causes serious injury to wildlife. We ask that you leave nothing behind when enjoying the outdoors.

A big reason fishing isn’t permitted on the jetty or around the complex!

This is a big reason why fishing isn’t permitted around the complex! To the good citizen who brought this little s**g to us at Long Neck. To say thanks, please come in and enjoy a meal and a drink on us.

He'd got a fishing hook caught in his neck, and he's now waiting for wildlife rescue to come and help him out 🦢
