These two years have flown by! But now we’re both off to do something new. Alice has started her Cert IV, which runs on a Thursday 🤦‍♀️😂, and Sam is studying for her Training and Assessment qualification which runs on Saturdays!
Closing on Thursday and Saturday every week really isn’t practical.
Also, summer is coming… if you’ve been following along for a while, you know what that means 🥵
Because it’s week 4 at TAFE already, and Alice hasn’t been at all yet, we will be closed tomorrow so she can go. So we’re open today, Friday and Sunday.
And then that’s it 😢

This week we’ve got a Roast potato and Leek soup for you and it’s been called “the best one yet!”
Big call, but they might be right.
We’ve taken sweet, buttery leeks, added golden roasted potatoes, mixed them up with some magic (and cream), and ended up with this delicious, creamy soup. It some with crispy bacon and a bit of baguette, making it a perfect winter lunch.

They come with sushi rice, Teriyaki glazed salmon or chicken, endame beans, pickled red onion, salad, pickled ginger, avocado, and a creamy mayo/lime/wasabi dressing. So fresh, so crunchy, so delicious 😋
