🛹Temporary closure – Merimbula skatepark

Now that the school holidays are coming to an end, we’ll get on with finishing off works around the new Merimbula Skatepark at Ford Park. The skatepark will be temporarily closed from Monday 13 October to Wednesday 22 October to allow irrigation and landscaping works to be completed.

Contractors will be carrying out final landscaping works — including top dressing, grass seeding, garden planting and irrigation installation — and will need to close off the area while they’re on site.

These finishing touches are an important step in completing the space and will help the new grass and plants establish, keeping the area looking great for years to come.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while these works are completed.

Planning for an official opening event is underway and we will have more information for you soon!
