Everyone's got a favourite laksa and it’s not because they've compared every bowl in town. More often than not, it's because your favourite usually comes with a story. Maybe it's the first bowl you’ve had, the place that your entire family swears by, or that one random spot a friend introduced you to that somehow became the standard you compare every other laksa against.
That's what we love about laksa: everyone has a story behind it.
This is why we’re thrilled that the Darwin International Laksa Festival is back to put the spotlight on a dish that Territorians never seem to get tired of talking (and sometimes debating) about! So this month, we'll tell you our laksa’s story, invite YOU to share your own laksa story, and serve plenty of delicious bowls along the way.
