🐎 The Tibooburra Sports Club has a big weekend lined up on 3–4 October, with the Gymkhana on Saturday, a rodeo Saturday night and the Bikekhana on Sunday. It’ll be a great weekend to get out and support the club!
Packsaddle Roadhouse will be open all weekend from 8am till late. Call in on your way through for a feed and a cold drink. . We’d love to see you 😁

⚠️ IMPORTANT ROAD UPDATE – PLEASE SHARE ⚠️
The Silver City Highway north of Packsaddle is NOT CLOSED! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤡🤯😤😵‍💫😡
Unfortunately, incorrect information is currently showing on Live Traffic NSW, and Google Maps is directing travellers on a long and unnecessary detour.
The highway remains open to traffic. These incorrect updates cause confusion for travellers and have a serious impact on our already struggling local businesses.
Please share this post and help us get the correct information out there. Drive safely and always follow any signs or directions at the roadside.

The most exciting news we’ve had this year.. QLD has opened the roads!! 🥳 This means you can get to and from Innamincka and Noccundra through here!! 🛻💨
It does state they are high clearance vehicles only but towing is aloud.
I have marked red on the roads that are still closed.

We had a cute little visitor 🥰 three little chicks were abandoned by their dad so they are off to be cared for by the wildlife rescue people in Broken Hill ☺️

Alrighty, I think everyone’s had their say 😂
I’m turning the comments off now — not because I don’t love a good debate, but because I’ve actually got a Roadhouse to run! 🤣

Thanks for all the support, laughs and opinions. Some people could do with knowing more facts and understanding before commenting but that’s all good 👍

Now… back to work before Arnie wonders what I’ve been doing all day! 😂🤠

SERIOUSLY… THIS IS NOT OK 😡

We really shouldn’t have to say this, but apparently we do.
Packsaddle Roadhouse is a BUSINESS — not a free picnic area.
Please do not bring your own food and drinks onto our premises. We don’t understand how people think it’s ok.
It’s not acceptable at McDonalds so why should it be here!
We provide seating, shade, toilets, cleaning, rubbish removal and other facilities for our customers. Keeping a small business operating out here costs money — wages, power, insurance, maintenance and plenty more.
We are more than happy for travellers to stop, have a break and enjoy our facilities while supporting our business. But setting up your own food and drinks at our tables is simply not acceptable and creates an embarrassing situation for all involved.
If you choose to bring your own food and drinks, that’s absolutely your choice — but please enjoy them somewhere else, not on our business premises.

We work bloody hard to keep this place going and provide a service to travellers and our local community. All we ask is for a little respect and common sense.
