IMPORTANT BUSINESS UPDATE
We are proud to officially announce a new partner at The Frankland:
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
Before anyone asks:
No, Albo will not be stretching pizza dough.
No, he won’t be cleaning beer lines.
And he will not be working the lunch rush during school holidays or doing any of the hard graft that makes a small business possible.
But after reviewing our BAS statements, payroll, super, land taxes, licensing, beer excise tax, WorkCover, GST tax obligations and new Capital Gains Tax on businesses we realised he already owns a substantial stake in the business anyway so we’ve decided to make him an official partner.
So here’s what customers can expect under the new co-management arrangement:
• Albo has proposed that all pizzas over 11 inches be classified as “luxury assets” and will have a 30% levy on them
Operationally, Anthony’s role will mainly involve:
appearing in photos,
monitoring beer excise, making sure we do a welcome to country each morning when we open, and ensuring we continue working hard enough to fund Canberra and those ‘struggling’ to make ends meet by milking NDIS whilst on a student visa.
We’d also like to thank him personally for only taking 47% and his contribution to every good weekend we’ve ever had 🍺
Because life is easy under Albanese..
