PASTRY COOK WANTED
Part-Time / Casual

Island Pies is looking for a reliable and hardworking Pastry Cook to join our team.

Experience is preferred but not essential – training can be provided for the right person.

Duties include:
• Preparing pastries, cakes, slices, sausage rolls and pasties
• Assisting with daily bakery production
• Lifting and handling pastry and pie trays
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
• Following food safety and hygiene standards

About You:
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team
• Able to perform some manual lifting

From May 28th–30th, Island Pies will donate $1 from every plain pie sold to support vital brain cancer research as part of Baking for brain cancer.

You’re welcome to enjoy them hot and ready to eat, or grab them cold to heat up later at home.

From May 28th–30th, Island Pies will proudly support Baking For Brain Cancer — a cause that means so much to many families across Australia.

For every plain pie sold over these 3 days, we will donate $1 towards brain cancer research and support services.

Brain cancer affects thousands of families every year, and we hope that together, as a community, we can help make even a small difference.
