This week’s glass pour is Babche Wines Fiano ‘25. Murray Darling fruit from the Merbein vineyard, 11.5%, and a grandmother on the label who’s clearly seen things.

Fiano’s the Italian grape that loves a hot Aussie summer. It’s textural, a bit nutty, and full of citrus. Built for salt air and a plate of whatever is cooking down in the mangroves.

$18 a glass, all week, until sold out.

For one night, Salties leaves the beach and sets up inside the Dingo Festival. The Mangrove Symposium is a Banquet Dinner Party at Moller Hall, Bangalow. Saturday 10th October.

David Moyle’s on the pans. Edd Fisher , GOOD MORNING TAPES , Dingo Balearico , Myles Doughman & a special guest are on the sound all evening. You’re on the dancefloor once the plates are cleared.
