98 rescues and assists and 179 people rescued so far this year.

We’re very lucky to have such a dedicated team keeping people safe on the water. ⚓️🌊

We’re looking forward to a busy couple of weeks at Inner Light Tea Rooms ☕️🌊

Just a few little reminders if you’re planning a visit:

🌸 We’re open 7 days, 8:30am–3pm
🌸 School holidays can get very busy, especially around breakfast and lunch, so a little patience during peak times is always appreciated 🤍
🌸 High Tea is $60pp and requires 48 hours' notice 🫖🍰
🌸 You’re always welcome to pop in for breakfast, lunch, Devonshire Tea, coffee or something sweet.

If you have family or friends visiting Nelson Bay these holidays, bring them up to the lighthouse and show them one of our favourite little corners of the Bay. 🌊

We can’t wait to see lots of familiar faces — and hopefully plenty of new ones too!

☕ A new coffee has arrived at Inner Light Tea Rooms, Nelson Bay! ☕

We’re excited to introduce Newcastle’s Leading Coffee Roaster & Wholesaler as the new coffee pouring at Inner Light Tea Rooms.

After plenty of tasting (it’s a tough job 😉), we chose Peaberrys Black Betty — a beautifully rich, smooth blend that we think pairs perfectly with a morning by the Bay.

Our new coffee equipment has been installed, the beans are in the grinder, and we’re officially pouring! 🧡

Same beautiful view. Same Inner Light you know and love. Just a brand-new coffee for you to enjoy.

Come in, try it for yourself and let us know what you think. ☕
