THE LAST CHAPTER - THE NAREMBEEN CO-OP CAFE
In mid 2018 a group of local women came together to discuss how they might support the community and businesses in Narembeen. Coffee and food featured throughout the discussion.
Through determination and hard work, the Narembeen Co-Op Café was born, a community owned and operated Café, where all profits went back into running the Café.
Officially opened on Tuesday 20 November 2018, the Café quickly became a place for great coffee and food, a spot for all generations to relax and connect.
The Café has provided employment for locals, quality food & coffee, establishing a great reputation within the Wheatbelt.
The Café flourished with many community partnerships including the sharing of the Narembeen Club staff, making work for overseas travellers in Narembeen more attractive with the opportunity for additional work.
Many staff have come and gone, we thank all of you who have worked for The Narembeen Café, making it possible to provide this service to our community.
To our customers, a BIG thank you to each and every one of you who has supported us.

Thank you to Go Narembeen who provided seed funding for the community café to get up and running and financial support over the 6 years—for without Go Narembeen the Café would not have existed. Go Narembeen continues to support local businesses with the lease of the Café and equipment to new tenants.
We would like to welcome Kim and Merredith McKenzie-Thornton, who will take over the Narembeen Café on Monday 5 August 2024.
Kim and Meredith are the current operators of the Bruce Rock Café, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in the food industry.
Both Kim and Merredith volunteer across many groups in Bruce Rock, we feel they will be a welcome asset to the Narembeen community and we know they will love our town as much as we do!
