Good Morning Namborians.
Last night Piglets Cranny had a packed house with original aussie grung rock bands brought to Nambour by the ScrapYarders playing from 6pm to 11pm. It was awesome original music from bands such as, Fat Pony, Haters, Old Home and Irukundji and more. There is absolutely no doubt that these four bands are headed for wide spread main stream popularity.
I am so pleased to have been the venue for such tallented musicians, and to have them play on our last night of being open has been a real honour.
Yes, Piglets Cranny has shut her doors for the last time and wishes Nambour all the best. I am extremely proud to have opened Piglets in such an amazing town, but alas, ongoing COVID-19 restrictions have made it impossible to meet my financial obligations, especially the high lease costs.
Fortunately, all is not lost. In partnership with Big Audio, I am opening a new venue opposite the Nambour Council building (Bury Street). Combining my experience gained from Piglets Cranny and the vast music industry experience of Phil Turvey (Big Audio), we will open a fully licensed new venue offering great live entertainment with an outdoor licensed drinking and eating area. It will be the first real indoor/outdoor bar/live ntertainment venue in Nambour.
I want to thank everyone for helping me make Piglets Cranny a success. Namborians are incredibly loyal, generous, big hearted first class Australians. I am so glad I chose Nambour to be my family home when returning from overseas.
Stay tuned for further updates about the new venue, simply called No. 10. Opening sometime later this year.
Love from all the team at Piglets Cranny.
