Dear amazing customers, 😀
Let me tell you why we dont do home delivery!
When I opened a pizza shop in Strathalbyn 8 years ago, everybody begged us to do delivery. I didn't want to, but after 4 months, I gave in, and decided to do it!
It was ok initially, sales increased slightly.. we got a few new customers.. but after 3 months our sales were back to were they were previously! It become the new expected 'normal'.
The only difference was I had to find two new reliable delivery drivers, my wages sky-rocketed, my headaches doubled, and we were open to so many more things that could go wrong. - It was not fun!
-I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna make that mistake again.
I understand we miss out on alot of trade, by not doing it - but I'll gladly miss out on those extra headaches if it means I continue to enjoy my job 🙂
To the guy on the phone tonight who told me ' you won't survive in business if we dont do delivery' - its been 8 years and we've maintained 30% growth every single year since 2018. So I'll think we'll be ok!
Thankyou so much for continuing to buy our pizzas - even know we dont do delivery! It's the reason I love coming into work, and why I still enjoy my job 🙂
