There was love in every cup …..
The last few packets are sent off….25 years of nourishing the world one cup of chai at a time.
After 25years of Hari Har Chai, we give thanks and say goodbye. I bow with gratitude and love for the journey of building this business that supported me and the chai family over the past 25years. It all started when I learnt to brew chai in the Indian Himalayas around a fire in a cave on the mountain side of Khir Ganga. Taking the magic to Australia where with 1 kg of chai blending, packaging and selling it to a shop in Torquay Victoria, at a time when chai was an unfamiliar word on the lips of cafe owners and goers, a journey of nurturing with chai began.
There is a proud love in my heart for the many gifts of chai shared in all the places around the world where Hari Har Chai was brewed, the laughter, the conversations, tears and joy that a cup of chai ignites between friends, lovers and strangers.
A cup full of gratitude for all the love received from many people along the way that have made 25 years of making chai possible. For all the chai goddess that served, packed, danced, laughed and shared to send the chai out….. Natwah, Emmaline, Trish, Jenny, Julie, Danie, Dharma, Marissa, Laili, Emma, Kristy, Margie, Janice, Susie, Fifi, Kaaren, Ranee, Kali, and many more… and my awesome kids Odin and Indigo..
