Sirromet parkrun

Sirromet parkrun Sirromet parkrun is a FREE, timed, weekly 5km event for runners and walkers of all fitness levels. The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once!

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Sirromet parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the grounds of the beautiful Sirromet Winery and get physically acti

ve in the process. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun event. Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there! Please Note:
- Sirromet parkrun is not pram friendly.
- Dogs/pets are not permitted on the grounds
- No food or drink is to be brought onto the property, excluding bottled water.

Just a reminder

Good afternoon parkrunners. Due to the ongoing set up of the Tough Mudder event on the Sirromet grounds, all parties have agreed for safety measures that this weeks event (20/6) has to be cancelled.
So to clarify we are not operating this Saturday and next Saturday. All going well, we will be back on the 4/7.

Good chance to get out and do some tourism or volun-touring.

Happy hump day!! Wow, who can believe it’s only 3 more sleeps until we run/walk/crawl the rolling hills of Sirromet Parkrun. Our core roles for volunteers are full. A massive thank you to those parkrunners everywhere that give up their run so others may participate.
If you still have the itch to volunteer we still have 2 marshal positions available or look at future weeks to see how you can help your parkrun.
Just a reminder we are NOT operating the 27/6, due to another event happening that day at the winery.
