Boutique family owned and operated (off-grid) cellar door, winery and vineyards situated in the Central Heathcote wine region growing vines without irrigation - come and taste the difference. We continue to evolve, grow and concentrate on Rhone and Spa

nish grape varietals with plantings of Shiraz, Viognier, Grenache, Mouvedre and Tempranillo and making white and red wines, including red blends and late picked desert wines. In 2008 we purchased 100 acres of Cambrian soil on the Mount Camel Ranges with one acre of (8 year old) Shiraz Vines on the property. In 2009 another five acre vineyard was planted to Shiraz and Voignier on the eastern side of the estate. In 2013, we purchased the back adjoining property of 150 acres of red Cambrian volcanic soil, including a mature 50 acre vineyard. Historically these two properties were originally connected and it has been providential to merge this land once again. This expansion of the Silver Spoon Estate vineyards will reveal exiting new wines and varietals in the coming years...

We have now opened our Cellar Door to showcase and educate our customers on true hand made wine making techniques and to taste the difference from vines grown without irrigation. All grapes grown on the estate, all red wines made on site and sold on site within our winery/cellar door. We would love to show you our wines and give you a tour of our property. We are indeed very proud.

Mother’s Day is always special at Silver Spoon Estate, that’s why we make such a fuss and extend the beautiful menu Ben has created for four days! We are fully booked for this week, however, wirh a cancellation for tomorrow (Saturday 9/10), we do have available for up to 6 people at 2pm tomorrow.
Many gluten free options, vegetarian menu and kids meals available too.

Sunday we have local musical talents Larsen Young duet (our very own winemaker / founder - Peter playing lead guitar accompanying Amy from Rogues Lane singing). Music throughout the afternoon from 12:30 till 3pm. Bookings essential as we have limited seating for this special menu.

Come join us this SATURDAY 10 January for an evening of live music with Peter, our multi-talented winemaker, and Heathcote’s other talented musicians including Adrian from Munari Wines, Evan from Three Dams Estate, Amy from Rogues Lane, and Heathcote rock legend Steve on bass guitar.
