At the core of it all I'm just a foodie. I love food. I love feeding people. I love creating deliciousness and sharing it with everyone.

My awesome neighbour gifted me a homemade venison kransky and having had a very quiet few weeks my itch to get in the kitchen was at full throttle.

I had a few spuds, a couple of eggs, some spring onion that needed using up and all the things to make a potato, venison kransky & egg potato salad. And if i do say so, it might be one of the best potato salads I have ever made....all of this coming from someone who doesnt like game meats but the smokiness of the kransky mixed with the tangy mayo, mustard and pickled onion dressing is absolutely delicious 😋

Our cheesecake shooters have always been a huge hit and can be done in pretty much any flavour imaginable....I have even done savoury ones 😋😋😋😋

My apologise to anyone who has been waiting for me to get back to them recently.
We both came down with Influenza A early last week and have been basically bed bound since.
Honestly I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy its the worst!!
Today has been the first day I haven't slept all day so I am hoping by tomorrow the brain fog will have lifted enough for me to make sense 🙂🙂

We are always testing recipes and trying to make things tastier.
This weekend we trialled a new beef brisket...we have previously cooked our brisket in a pressure cooker, which was always tasty.
I decided I wanted to test out something new...12 hour oven baked brisket!!! Baked over night at 90 degrees, in a broth of onion, garlic & our special bbq seasoning.
Not only did it work out better BUT it was melt in the mouth, falling apart, deliciousness!!
We then finish it in a gravy made of the roasting juices.
