Our last night in NZ, we headed for some “fine dining”. Although the prices matched this type of restaurant…the paper tablecloths and service did not. We waited for 5 mins for the water we were offered when we sat at our table. We then waited 10mins to get our drinks order which we also ordered our food. The Ribeye was $51 and all you got was chips and peppercorn gravy…for that price a choice of veges would’ve been better. The oysters were good, pork belly amazing (although the presentation needs rearranging 🫣) and the salmon was slightly undercooked. We then waited another 10mins for our dessert order to be taken once dinner plates were taken and dessert menu given. Other people seemed to take priority over us for some reason. With prices averaging for entrees $23, mains $50, sides $17 and desserts $23…we expected more. We wouldn’t visit again
