Today is a very sad day for all of us Basilico team.

Our beloved Marco passed away yesterday, doing one of the things he loved the most.

We will be forever grateful for the fantastic three years we spent together, for his unmatchable commitment towards work and, most importantly, for the amazing friend he has been.
Marco left basilico in February 2024 to go back to Italy to his family. Until today we remained very good friends as we spent many years working together and doing activities out of work, including holidays.

He was a special soul, always available to his friends, loyal, generous and caring.

Please remember to be grateful for every single moment you get to spend with the people you love, because you will never know when it will be the last.

We’ve amended our opening hours over the Christmas period to allow our staff some well deserved R&R. But don’t worry, we know how important it is to get your weekly pizza fix, particularly during the period between Christmas and New Year when no one has any idea what to do with themselves other than eat. See our holiday trading hours below:

23rd - 26th December: Closed
27th - 29th December: Open
30th December - 2nd January: Closed
3rd January: Open

BASILICO HOLIDAYS - From next week!

The time has come, it has been a long four years the boys have not been able to go home to Italy to their families. They finally have the opportunity to go for some family commitments next month for the first time since before covid. It unfortunately does mean being the small team that we are, we will be closed for the month of October. We apologise for any inconvenience.

This is the last week before we close, so come get your Basilico fix! Book online and we will see you in November 🙂
