Well everyone, now that we've had a few days to process everything that's happened, we wanted to finally share where our hearts are at.

With our beautiful baby girl due any day now, and a longing to get our family life back, we made the incredibly difficult decision to sell La Bella Pasticceria. It wasn't an easy choice, but it was the right one for our family.

We're going back to where it all began... our home.

Home is where I first started creating the traditional Italian sweets that so many of you have come to know and love. Somewhere along the way, we got caught up in the café life, and the very thing that made us us slowly took a back seat.
So, with a full heart... La Casa Dolce is born.

This new chapter is about getting back to our roots. It's about slowing down, making everything with love, keeping Mum's traditions alive, and focusing on the Italian sweets that mean so much to our family. Most importantly, it's about giving me the time to be the mumma my babies need.

We are now taking orders, although I ask for a little patience while we eagerly wait for our little girl to make her grand entrance into this crazy, beautiful world. 🩷 Once she's here and we find our new rhythm, I can't wait to bring even more delicious things to our amazing community.

Back in 2019 ...All the good stuff we started with.... sometime going back to the beginning is a good thing,you can sit with it think about the good and bad and then remould the next future 🥰 i hope this will be somthing i can share with my 2 girls one day :)

I’ve found where my heart truly belongs. ❤️

It was incredibly hard to let go of café life, but this... this is where I’m meant to be.

Every recipe carries a memory of Mum. Every handwritten note, with her shaky handwriting, is a piece of her that I’ll treasure forever. The hands that once carried me, guided me, and taught me to love the art of creating beautiful sweets may no longer be here, but through these recipes, a part of her still lives on.

This is how I stay close to her. This is how I honour everything she gave me.

So instead of letting it all go, I’ve decided to hold onto this little piece of her for a while longer. I'll keep creating the sweets she taught me to make, while embracing this beautiful new chapter of family life.

Some things are simply too precious to say goodbye to. ❤️🥹

If you've been following our journey, you know that saying goodbye to our little shop was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do.

For a while, we wondered if that chapter was truly the end.

But if there's one thing we've learnt, it's this...

You can close a door, but you can never close a heart that's built to create.

Monique has spent years pouring her love into every cannolo, every biscuit, every cake, and every sweet treat that left our kitchen. It was never just about desserts. It was about family, tradition, memories, and making people smile.

And that part of her could never be left behind.

So today, with full hearts, we're beginning again.

Only this time, our dream looks a little different.
