Since 2014, Slater St has been at the heart of BENCH COFFEE CO. At a time when an open bar concept still uncommon, the space was originally designed to remove the barrier between staff and customers, encouraging connection and conversation.

Built from reclaimed timber from an old fire station, the space has a warmth all its own. Inviting people around around its communal bench or the generous outside space, under the shade of the trees.

More than a decade on, as our first shop, it laid the foundation for the direction and values that continue to shape BENCH COFFEE CO. today.
