Why did we start Lane's?

We started Lane's because we love what good food brings people together for. It's the smell of a BBQ firing up on a Saturday afternoon. It's mates standing around giving each other a hard time while keeping an eye on the meat. It's family dinners that somehow turn into hours around the table. It's the stories, the laughs, and the memories that happen around good food.

When we started, our first "warehouse" which was Brett's mum's spare bedroom in Brisbane. We had one online order, one wholesale account, and a simple goal: make great flavour easy for everyone. A lot has changed since then. We've grown the team, moved warehouses a few times, and now proudly make every product right here in Brisbane. But one thing hasn't changed.

We're still just a bunch of BBQ lovers who love helping people cook great food. And with Father's Day around the corner, that's exactly what our new Father's Day Boxes are all about. Happy Saturday, legends!

Another week has flown by here at Lane's, and it's been a busy one as always. Between packing orders, chatting with customers, and working away on a few exciting things behind the scenes, we've certainly kept ourselves occupied.

We did have to laugh though... as soon as the temperature dipped to 14 degrees, the heater came on. Us Queenslanders really aren't built for this cold weather. Not sure we're fans of it yet, but it does give us a good excuse to spend a bit more time around the BBQ warming up.
