We have some beautiful local raw honey for sale in the shop currently.
Sourced from a dedicated beekeeper in Seaham, selling honey again feels a little bitter sweet.
Those whoโve been around for a while will remember that we once sold honey from our Mayfield home beehive before the devastating Varroa Mite caused all the beehives in the local area to be destroyed.
We never got a beehive again but are so pleased to support our local beekeepers.
As well as putting it in our tea, in our sweets and on our toast, weโre making fermented garlic honey at home. These jars will sit on the shelf for will be perfect for next years winter sniffles.
