Dear friends, neighbours, and my wonderful customers,

As the holiday season approaches, I’d like to let you know that Nick Zhao’s Kitchen will be closed on December 24th and 25th.
We’ll be reopening on December 26th (Boxing Day) and I look forward to welcoming you back.

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been here on Macleay Island for 5 years already. From the very first day until now, your continued support, kindness, and encouragement have meant more to me than words can say. Thank you for supporting my restaurant, for choosing to dine with us, and for allowing me to cook for you and be part of your everyday lives and special moments.

Running a restaurant isn’t always easy, but because of you — my loyal customers and this supportive community — it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I’m truly grateful for every visit, every kind word, and every recommendation to friends and family. ❤️

As I look ahead to the New Year, I promise to continue doing what I love most — preparing and serving delicious food with care, and working together with my team to give you a warm and welcoming dining experience.

As we close briefly for the holidays, I just want to say thank you. I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas, a relaxing holiday break, and a happy, healthy New Year. I can’t wait to see you again on Boxing Day! ✨
