Soft pastel lilacs with hand shaped wafer butterflies. This cake was just like the birthday girl...... pretty on the inside and the outside. Pink marble sponge with American buttercream.......yum!!!!

Happy August Cake Lovers! I'm just taking a moment to stop and do a little photo dump to show you all what I've been up to. It's been a wonderfully blessed and busy year, in the kitchen, so far. Thank you to all my wonderful clients who have ordered cakes, cupcakes and other dainty delights. I'm beyond thrilled and honoured to be a part of your special celebrations.

I had the pleasure of creating this order for a Bridesmaids Luncheon with the theme colours being soft pink, cream and chocolate. These babies were mini cupcakes (the perfect mouthful) and were light, fluffy vanilla and chocolate sponge with chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream.

Note to self.... must get better at taking photos! Some minis running out the door for a special picnic for a very special bride-to-be. Chocolate and vanilla sponge with buttercream icing and delicate flowers to match the theme.

I never make New Year's Resolutions but I did this year and it was to make the time to actually post all the fun stuff I've been doing in the kitchen..... and here we are in March......oops!
