Memorial Service for Ann Bruinsma

Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate the life of our beautiful Ann Bruinsma.

🗓 Saturday, 8th August 2026
🕐 1:00 PM
📍 Pelis, Loch Sport Boat Club
14 Charlies Street, Loch Sport

Tea, coffee and food will be provided during the memorial service, with alcoholic beverages available to purchase at bar prices.

Anyone who knew Ann is welcome to attend as we gather to share memories, laughter and celebrate a life so well lived.

There is plenty of parking available at the nearby boat ramp.

From 5:00 PM onwards, we will continue celebrating Ann’s life at Nauti Bites Cafe. The café will be closed to the public for this private gathering, giving family and friends the opportunity to spend more time together, share stories and raise a glass in Ann’s honour.

We would love to see everyone who knew and loved Ann join us in celebrating her remarkable life. ❤️

Our beautiful Ann, affectionately known to so many as Oma, will be farewelled at her memorial service this Saturday, 8th August.

📍 Venue: To be confirmed tomorrow. We will update everyone as soon as it’s finalised.

We have many family and friends travelling to Loch Sport to celebrate Oma’s life, so we’re looking for any Airbnb or holiday accommodation available for an overnight or weekend stay at a reasonable price.

If you have a property available, or know of one or a couple , we’d really appreciate it if you could pop the details in the comments below or send me an inbox.

Today, our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our beautiful Mum and Oma, who passed away peacefully today.

She was deeply loved, and her kindness, strength and love will remain with us always. While we are heartbroken, we are grateful for the precious memories she has left us and the lives she touched.

As we take this time to be with our family, Nauti Bites Café will be closed for the coming week. We appreciate your understanding, patience and support during this difficult time.

Thank you to our wonderful community for respecting our family’s privacy as we celebrate the life of an incredible woman.

Rest peacefully, Mum & Oma. You will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten. ❤️
