This week we said farewell to our lovely Brazilian backpacker, Suelem Martins ❤️ Loved not only for her incredible barista skills, but also her kindness, sweet nature and the wonderful friendships she’s made in our community. You’ve become such a special part of our Lightning Ridge family!

Suey is hoping to return next year after exploring more of our beautiful country, so we’ll certainly be counting down the days!

Sending you off with lots of love, Suey. We can’t wait to see your lovely face again in 2027! 🇧🇷❤️

Today we sadly farewell our hardworking, infectiously friendly, always smiling, full of life, beautiful Hayley 😭 After spending nearly a year with us (with a few little adventures and travels in between) it’s safe to say she’s become a very special part of our Opal Street family and Lightning Ridge community.
Hayley, you’ve left a little piece of your heart here, and we know you’re taking a whole lot of ours with you. You are so loved, and you’ll be missed more than words can say!
Thank you for giving your absolute everything, for all of the memories, laughs and friendships. Once the Ridge gets under your skin, you know you’ll always have a home here and you’re welcome back anytime with open arms. We’re looking forward to following along what adventures you get up to next. Never goodbye, we’ll see ya later ❤️
