Submission now closed for you to have your say on the town center plans

I was unable to attend the workshop meeting as it was booked out with a 45 person limit.
The big issue for the blue buffalo and others is the potential removal of 50 percent of parking in the Main Street.
I would like to ask does anyone think this will be helpful for businesses and the community to make shopping in a small country town less accessible ?

The town master plans do not include any upgrades to the council Main Street entrance to the Laurieton Hotel , steps , handrails or disabled access.
While there is much planned for Seymour street outdoor dining / street food experience , But with no restaurants .🤷
Council’s job is to enforce private operators to have compliant steps and disable access, council operates under their own rules.
