Remember when these two were the new kids in craft b**r?

Fat Yak.
Lazy Yak.

Back when finding a craft b**r at the pub was still a bit of an event.

So we're going old-school for this week's Recipe of the Week and putting our two Yak-inspired brews head-to-head.

🦬 Nearly Nirvana — our nod to Fat Yak. Golden, hoppy and loaded with herb, passionfruit and melon character.

🦬 Slack Yak — easy drinking, full of flavour and made for those first warm spring afternoons.

Now for the important bit...

Which Yak are you backing?

Your Grainfather has another trick up its sleeve...

Already brewing on a G40 or G70?

Add the Grainfather Distilling Lid + T500 Alembic Attachment Kit and you can turn your brewing system into a pot still too.

B**r one weekend.

Wh***ey, bourbon or rum the next.

One bit of kit doing multiple jobs — we can get behind that.

If you've already got a G40 or G70 and want to know what's involved, come in and have a yarn with us.
