ITS THE LAST SLICE FRIENDS!!!!

And it’s going to be a DOOOOOZY!!!!

We’ve got some slightly nicer wines if you’re happy to pay extra for less of a headache… we’ve got a few extra staff kicking around to handle the expected crowd, cocktails are back and the menu will be evolving all night long as we work through the last of our stock! How exciting.

Dress up theme is “Kuranda” so if you’re not into that kind of thing just come as yourself.

If you have a fiend who might want to lend a hand in the kitchen or on the floor shoot a message straight to Carmen Louise and we’ll give them a couple of hours helping out!

Lunar wrapped up his final open mic (😭) last night so leave your guitars at home and grab those dancing shoes because our sweet summer child is at the helm: and it’s only fitting as Davy actually opened our first ever night open back almost 5 years ago. 😍

Doors open 5pm, happy hour until the beer runs out, everybody gets to take a cafe chair home with them too!

Then NEXT Wednesday… 19/11 our sweet baby angel local legend golden child Davy from Cinnamon Sun is coming to close out our Wednesday pizza nights! Seems pretty fitting as CinnyBuns was our first ever muso guest at Firefly! 😍😍😍

KURANDA GIRL SHOWCASE TONIGHT AT WOODFIRED WESNESDAYS!!!!

Local baby girl will be in from 6pm to open with her soulful bops and sweet sweet sweet vibe!

Afterward, back by popular demand is . She flew up to play a few weeks back and absolutely blew us away! The one person in the world who gets away with THAT much cheeky banter with Carmen (they’re sisters after all), Kirst grew up here right there is Greenhills road, and is currently residing in Tamworth finessing her own genre of swamp rock/ bluegrass country and is really one you don’t want to miss! Go to her Spotify and get her extensive back catalogue into your ears!

ONLY tonight, come and have a pizza and support the local girls!!

This Wednesday pizza night we have very extra special guests to our open mic: Agein’ Cajun band! 🤩🤩🤩

Doors open 5pm, the usual $5 happy hour drinks PLUS special Cajun inspired pizzas, and a wee cocktail menu to inspire some extra special dancing!

Only a few woodfired Wednesdays are left, so make the most of this special time in Kurandas live music journey!

It’s pizza night erryone!

Every Wednesday Carmen is up early making the dough, the kids roll in after school and start chopping the veg, and then Lunar shows up and runs one of the most chilled and unique open mics in the country.

Is this just a video of the back of someone’s head? Yep. If you come in and play a few tunes tonight from 5pm could this be the back of YOUR head next week? Yep.

Also some exciting news: we’re closing the cafe in a few weeks. Yep. Closed closed. Carmen has some other business to attend to and we figure, may as well end on a high! Locals with loyalty cards and pizza vouchers, better get in quick to make sure you claim your rewards!

Everybody else, make sure you don’t “oh I can’t be bothered I’ll just go next week” because there may not be a next week!
