A little pricing update from us at Ah Raffaele

From 1 October 2026, changes to card payment surcharges will come into effect across Australia, meaning businesses will no longer be able to pass card processing fees on as a separate surcharge.

Like many small cafés and businesses, we’ve previously passed these fees on when customers choose to pay by card. With the change, these costs will now need to be built into our pricing.

As a result, from 1st October, you’ll notice a small increase across most of our menu.

We’ve worked hard to absorb rising costs wherever we can - from the cost of our ingredients and supplies, to electricity, water and gas, as well as several wage increases.

Unfortunately, a small price increase has become unavoidable. We want to continue serving the same quality food and coffee you know and love, while looking after the people who make Ah Raffaele what it is.

Our amazing team deserve to be paid what they’re worth, our suppliers deserve to be paid on time, and we want to keep doing what we love for our community.

As always, thank you for your support, it genuinely means the world to us.
