We’re so excited to be part of Kiama Culture Fest 2026 this Saturday!

Join us for a beautiful day celebrating culture, community, music and traditions from around the world. 🌍✨

At Saltwater Kiama, we’ll be sharing the delicious flavours, rich traditions and warm hospitality of Türkiye.

Come and enjoy a delicious selection of Turkish favourites, including Adana kebabs, köfte, sucuk ekmek, çiğ köfte, homemade sıkma, fresh Turkish bread and sweet baklava, along with traditional Turkish coffee on sand, Turkish tea, ayran and refreshing Uludağ Gazoz! ☕🥙❤️

💃✨ And we have something special for you!

At 5 PM, we’ll be bringing a little extra magic to Terralong Street with a beautiful Belly Dance Performance right in front of Saltwater!

Come along, enjoy the music, soak up the atmosphere and celebrate with us!

Where do we even start…

Some people come into your shop for a coffee and somehow end up becoming part of your family. That was Neil.

From the very first day we opened Saltwater, he was there. Always up for a chat, always ready with a cheeky joke, and always making us laugh.

He wasn’t just one of our regulars. He was one of us. ❤️

The day before we lost him, I gave him a hug and said goodbye, with absolutely no idea it would be the last time. I’ll always be grateful for that one last hug.

Today we said our goodbyes, and what a beautiful send-off it was. So many stories, so much laughter and so much love. Hearing everyone share their memories reminded us just how lucky we all were to have known him.

It’s funny how someone can become such a big part of your everyday life without you even realising it, until they’re no longer there.

Thank you, Neil, for being part of our journey from day one. For every coffee, every laugh, every little chat and all the memories.

We’ll miss you walking through our doors, mate.

And don’t worry, your LRF flat white with one sugar will always have a place at our table whenever your mates come by. ☕❤️

Losing Neil has reminded us just how short life really is. So let’s make the most of the time we have. Hug each other a little tighter, check in on one another, ask how we’re doing and really listen. Tell people how much they mean to us while we have the chance.

We’re so lucky to be part of this beautiful little community. Let’s keep looking after each other, being kind, sharing a laugh and making time for the people around us.

Life is better when we look after each other, and we’re always better together. ❤️

Rest easy, Neil. Saltwater won’t be the same without you.

The Kiama New Year’s Eve fireworks are more than just fireworks, they’re one of those special nights that brings our whole town together. ❤️

After last year’s cancellation, we were really keen to see them return and were grateful to have the opportunity to speak with Council and be part of the conversations happening across our local business community.

It’s amazing to see what can happen when local businesses and the community come together.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. 🙏

Can’t wait to see Kiama buzzing and the harbour lighting up again this New Year’s Eve! 🎆✨
