It has taken me over a week to write this Post!
On Friday 22 September I’ve closed the doors on the Cup-Ah! Coffee Van 😢😢😢
An emotional day indeed.
What the future holds, remains to be seen.
But for now, the machines are shut down
and Coert has to get used to domestic machine coffee again!☕️☕️☕️
It has been a challenging year – having to reduce my work hours significantly
Feeling like I’ve let down my regular runs and Park Regulars
Limiting days to servicing Bechtel and keeping event commitments
But it enabled me to push the inevitable out for another year, but that is the thing with inevitable, right? You can only push it for so long and the time has come for me to focus on my health.
It has been five years.
Five years of Connection through Coffee and serving your Cup-Ah! the way you want it!
Five years of navigating the treacherous Pilbara Business Scene
From earning a “Master’s Degree” in Tetris to make things fit, getting my head around the world of electricity, battery systems and solar charge to finally learning how to service my own machines and equipment on top of the usual admin and the official side of a small business, it has been one hell of a ride!
Not to mention the non-coffee-drinker-turned-coffe-snob learning about all things coffee 😜
Oh, the stories I could tell!
I look back on it all – and I am GRATEFUL.
Grateful for the things I have learned, the friends
I have made, the family I’ve gained and the things we have achieved together.
My mission has always been to serve the community, to offer not just a good brew, but a positive experience with integrity and kindness and keep on improving.
To fill the gap and do the things previously thought can not be done
I like to believe that all things considered, I’ve managed to do just that – and managed to train and teach other’s to do the same.
