**Cupboard update** Happy Mothers Day!!

It is safe to say DO NOT trust what the style I “thought” it should be and just take ChatGPT’s word… and keep the mantra of “trust the process… trust the process!” Going in your head…
If you had of told me I’d paint something green I would have told you “absolutely F’g NOT” but apparently AI had other ideas!
So here is the finished result (minus a repair to the flacking chipboard bottoms - yet to come!)

We still haven’t got into the baking or laser cutting groove as YET.. BUT… I have a new up-cycle project happening with this little cupboard (taken 5cm of swollen chipboard of the bottom!!) and a sneaky 2nd project in the background!

It’s no where near spring but the train needed sorting and organizing!
The first pic is today and the last one was only from March last year… gosh I still have so much and this is only 1 end of the train!!!! 😳
Maybe some time soon I’ll find the time to use the wheel!
I’m sure I have thrown out at least half a trailer load of useless rubbish or things I’ve not touched in years!
Found my nanas old button tin hidden in her old Singer sewing box… my old suitcases which I used to pack to leave to my nana and pops place (we lived next door across the paddock!) and tucked inside was my year 1 case! Somethings you can’t get rid of!

Random musings for today…

I’ve spent 2 weekends re-potting and cleaning, I suppose tinkering BUT today with the lawn mowed (thanks husband!) and the back veranda area cleaned, washing done and a mostly tidy house the feelings of being more relaxed entering into the week has me contemplating the “IF’s”
- If I make a scheduled weekly to do list would I work more productively?
- If it’s written down would it keep me more accountable?
- If I put “spend the day making designs and painting on a Tuesday” would I actually do it?

Tell me what YOU do - pen and paper list? On your phone? Do you have one of those fancy electronic schedulers? Or maybe a weekly/monthly whiteboard/memo board?

Hey HEY - I am still here! 🫣

2026 what a slow start - I started to create some more designs and it all went to sh*t and now I’ve got the case of the “Can’t be F’s” … now we are about to enter in APRIL - Easter and I had earrings to release - well painted at least BUT not finished at all… Bluey & Bingo Easter style, I’m sorry but now your benched until next year! 🙄

My niece is showcasing her artwork at the Goldfields arts center for the next couple of weeks. Opening night is tonight at 6pm!

Wishing everyone a VERY late Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.. we won’t be turning out oven on until FEBRUARY 2026!!

The last few days have been pretty hot… so I’ve busted out the sewing bag and found Sooooo many precut Christmas stocking waiting to be made… I have a few members of our family without their own so let’s see how many I can make before November this year!
I made Daniels Christmas stocking way way back in 2009 ish Lucas and my nieces got theirs in 2011… we still use it them too - something I would like to think is our little family tradition each year.

Tomorrows biscuit drop will be our smallest delivery ever…

There will only be 8 Melting Moment packs available from ..

Delivery won’t be until after 11.30am tomorrow as I have another appointment to get to! And they say the week of Christmas is busy!

REMINDER: NO cupcakes this week!

I am certain this weeks cupcakes pre off the table due to
a)the heat - melting buttercream’s not my favorite thing!
AND
b) this week sees our 2nd bathrooms getting a complete makeover (it’s only been out of action for 16 months!)
Dust and baking cake doesn’t go nice!

SOOOO… I’m thinking once everything’s packed up for the day I can still hook you up with biscuits at Fossick & co for Thursday! And preferences???
