After 10 months of shaking cocktails, pouring beers and being an all-round legend behind the bar, Pauline is wrapping up her time at Finlay’s and heading back to Brisbane to be with her partner.

She’s been one of those people you’re always happy to see on a busy shift - a seriously good bartender, a big animal lover and someone with an even bigger heart.

It won’t be quite the same behind the bar without you, Pauline. 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽 for everything you’ve brought to Finlay’s, and bonne chance for the next chapter! 🍀

Originally from Argentina, Diego has been part of the Finlay's family for the past year. He's one of our supervisors and one of those people who can do just about anything. Whether he's running a busy bar, mixing cocktails or jumping into the kitchen to help during service, he's always happy to lend a hand.

When he's not at Finlay's, you'll usually find him surfing, watching football or spending time with his partner Sol, who's also part of our team. And yes... the rumours are true, he's got a serious sweet tooth. 😄

🐠 If you're visiting Kalbarri, don't leave without a snorkel at Blue Holes.

Protected by the reef, it's one of the best places to get in the water and explore the colourful marine life. The shallow lagoon is usually nice and calm, making it a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike.

And if you'd rather stay dry? The views aren't too bad either. 💙

The hardest part? Deciding which plate to reach for first. 🤤
Corn ribs, charred Abrolhos octopus and crispy cauliflower popcorn - all made for sharing, although we won’t judge if you keep your favourite to yourself. 😉
