We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the Farm Angels this week, they are completing the West Coast Long Drive, 40’s for Farmers brings together a convoy of classic 40 Series LandCruisers to support farmers and rural communities across Western Australia.

Over 8 days they’ll travel from Perth to Exmouth Gulf via the Wheatbelt, Mid-West and Gascoyne, raising funds and awareness for Farm Angels and putting money back into the towns they visit.

Built on the same spirit and purpose as the original Long Drive for Drought, the WA event brings together 40 Series LandCruiser owners and supporters to travel through farming communities, support local businesses and raise awareness for rural Australia.

There’s something pretty special about watching the sun drop into the Indian Ocean from the cliffs, especially when you spot cruising through the golden light.

We like old things with a bit of character, and over the years quite the collection has found its way into the restaurant. Boat motors, old machinery, tools, signs... you name it, there’s probably one hiding somewhere.

It’s part of what makes this place Finlay’s, and we love watching people stop, point and say, “I remember those!”
